Shipping Policy

Delivery confirmation number for your package will be sent to you via email as soon as we ship your order. To be sure that you are receiving our emails (order confirmation, shipping confirmation, etc.) please add @typefreediabetes.com to your “approved sender”, “whitelist” and/or your “address book”. At this time we send emails from info@imtypefree.com

Our shipping rates are based on order weight.
Diabetic meter kit is approximately 1lb. Diabetic shoes range between 3 -5 lbs.

Most orders are qualified for $8.95 in shipping costs

Saturday delivery is not available for most products

Heavier shipments will be sent via USPS, UPS or FedEx Ground, so please provide us with a physical address if your order weighs over 4 lbs.

  • For all orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or a military / APO address, shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on the weight of the package. Shipments may also be subject to additional shipping charges.
  • All shipments weighing over 10lbs are also subject to additional shipping charges.

Incorrect addresses: Please check your order for the accuracy of your shipping address. Incorrect addresses may result in a $10 address correction fee. This fee will be added to your credit card.

Standard Two Day Next Day
Transit Time 2-5 days transit time. Second day by 5:00pm to most areas. Next business day by 3:00 PM.
All orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days. Estimated transit times refer to business days only; no weekends or holidays.
  • Next Day Air shipments will be delivered on the next business day after your order ships.
    • Business days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
    • Shipments are not delivered on Saturday or Sunday.
  • Standard shipping will be sent via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground (our choice) depending on order size, weight, and destination.
    • Neither UPS nor FedEx will deliver to a P.O. Box address.
    • UPS and FedEx require extra transit time when shipping to rural route or remote locations, even when shipping Second Day Air or Next Day Air
    • We honor USPS’s shipping schedules and do not ship on holidays.
  • We ship to Hawaii and Alaska.
    • An additional fee of $1.25 per lb will be added for orders over 5 lbs.
    • Please allow extra transit times for shipping to these locations.
    • We cannot offer Second Day Air or Next Day Air services to these locations.
